This class provides the basic terms of knots (end, bight, loop, hitch, etc) and goes over the usage and application of each knot Journeyman stagehands are expected to know.

• Two half-hitches

• Square knot

• Bowline

• Sheet bend

• Clove hitch

• Figure eight

• Half-hitch over a belying pin (belay knot)
