This course will introduce the fundamentals of theatrical sound. Starting with signal flow from source to human ear, participants will be given an understanding of simple sound gear (microphones, playback sources) while learning about both analog and digital consoles. Upon completion of the course, participants will be able to hookup a microphone and playback source and run through a theater sound system.
