Basic Rigging Principles and Practices in Scranton, PA | Local 329

This is an introduction to entertainment rigging and is designed to provide participants with a basic level of knowledge of rigging gear inspection, proper rigging procedures, recognize and evaluate field damaged rigging gear samples, and load control using typical rigging techniques in the entertainment rigging industry.

Participants will become familiarized with the terms regularly used in rigging applications, understand the principles behind basic entertainment rigging theory, and the different applicaitons for various pieces of rigging equipment. A supervised hands-on session will cover proper methods of assembling rigging equipment safely.
