This class will address the need for on production and off production crew members to be able to identify or question hazardous conditions on the work site in an appropriate manner so that work can proceed safely. Participants will survey the laws that apply to shops, locations, and work sites. Participants will also discuss characteristics of substances that workers are exposed to, how they enter the body, and the degrees to which these toxins have an effect, how to identity them, avoid them, and how to deal with them.
