Students will be able to identify lighting fixtures, understand system pipe and truss for hanging, understand cabling, circuiting and data flow, understand power systems, understand control systems, and be familiar with spotlight operation. Students will also be able to hand all the fixtures in a lighting plot, correctly use system pipes and truss, cable power and DMX, connect power and utilize power formulas, work with control systems and operate a follow spot.
