Skylight Balloon Technician I
The Technician course will cover the basics of safe, effective light balloon operation. Topics covered will include assembly, inflation, operation, deflation and disassembly of Tungsten, HMI, Hybrid, Sodium Vapor and Metal Halide lighting balloons. Also, we will cover the basic shapes of the balloons, the safe handling of compressed gasses, and the physics involved in operating a floating light source. 
 

Skylight Balloon Technician II
The Technician course will cover the basics of safe, effective light balloon operation (Overview of the Balloon Technician 1 Class). Topics covered will include assembly, inflation, operation, deflation and disassembly of Tungsten, HMI, Hybrid, Sodium Vapor and Metal Halide lighting balloons. Also, we will cover the basic shapes of the balloons, the safe handling of compressed gasses, and the physics involved in operating a floating light source. 

There will also be a focused hands-on building of the Skylight Skybox light and rigging to the appropriate boom lift. Further discussion of the many ways to use this light.
