RDM (Remote Device Management) allows compatible devices to communicate over existing DMX equipment to provide two-way communications for configuration, monitoring, and system setup. RDM will allow the programmer to discover, configure, and monitor any RDM-enabled device from the lighting console. Much of our newer equipment is RDM compatible and this protocol will streamline the rigging and troubleshooting process. This class will examine how the protocol works and how to integrate it into your rigs.
