This course is about having the hair stylist and makeup artists practice working together to achieve the final outcome of a well-applied bald cap. Students learn and practice firsthand what each department needs to do. The course covers hair prep, evaluation, and bald cap application.

Josh Turi is a multiple Emmy award-winning SFX artist who has been a member of Local 798 for decades. He is best known for his work on Saturday Night Live.

Christal Schanes is a long-time 798 member. As a hairstylist, she has worked in film, TV, and theater. She is an Emmy award-winning stylist and a long-time educator for 798. She was formerly an educator for the North Carolina School of the Arts.
