ETC Eos Ion Lighting Console

This course covers basic and advanced functions of a modern lighting console (ETC Eos/Ion XE) and how to patch, program, and control lights, LEDS, and moving lights. Students learn everything from the basics to advanced functions of a modern network/DMX lighting console. By the end of this course, a participant should feel confident in getting a lighting rig up and running and basic functions on the console.

David Patrick is a lighting programmer and lighting director for live entertainment, film, and television. Working professionally in entertainment lighting since 2005, he is currently a member of IATSE Local 728 as a Lighting Console Programmer for film and television and maintains a probationary membership with IATSE Local 33. His experience includes programming theatrical productions for designers at the Pasadena Playhouse, Mark Taper Forum, and other local venues, programming and lighting direction for touring artists, experiential corporate event lighting design, and film and television work on projects for HBO, Netflix, Hulu, and others.
