Introduction to Dante for Audio Engineers

This one-day course is designed for audio engineers interested in learning the basics of Dante Audio Networking for use with digital mixing consoles. Attendees will follow the Dante Audio curriculum from Audinate and guide them through parts one and two. Digital mixing consoles are becoming the norm for many large events. Knowledge of Dante can help attendees stay current with the latest technologies.

Daniel Sell is a CTS certified AV specialist. He has worked as a video engineer, audio engineer, lighting technician, and network engineer professionally as a member of IATSE Local 500 for the past 13 years. Before that he taught music, recording engineering, and lighting and sound for the theater in Miami-Dade County Schools for 31 years. Daniel is also a professional musician and has worked in that capacity for over 50 years. He now works as an independent consultant for many local performing arts groups. Daniel has a BS in Education from the University of Tennessee and a Masters in Music Performance from the University of Miami.
