Christine Willard, IATSE Local 481

Location: Boston, MA

Christine Willard has been a member of Local 481 for over 20 years, working primarily in the grip department. She is also a member of IATSE Local 11 working in rigging. She is an active and longstanding member of the 481 Safety & Training Committee and has been mentoring MEWP and Forklift classes since the training program’s inception. As a rigging grip, her most recent projects have included Knives Out, Hubie Halloween, The Finestkind, and The Holdovers. She became an STI-trained “competent person” for scaffolding over a decade ago and has been leading that training ever since.
