Boom Handling
Boom Handling is day two of the “What Lies Above” Boom Operator training course. This course is hands-on learning boom handling techniques beginning with how to properly set up the microphone and ending with required techniques such as handoffs, stand up/sit downs, and walk and talks.
By the end of this course, participants will know how to safely handle a boom pole on set. This course directly trains attendees in what they need to know between “action” and “cut.” This course is direct training for the job and what is expected and required to be successful from day one.
