This class covers the do’s and don’ts of fall protection, OSHA requirements, safety protocols and procedures, equipment expiration dates, donning a harness correctly, suspended while wearing the harness, explain different harness designs for job applications, and how to snap-in to prevent falling. This is required training for members asked to work at heights.
All students will be expected to wear and use a full body harness and discuss fall protection regulations, equipment limitations, and anchor point requirements. Rescue and suspension trauma will be discussed to insure understanding.

The criteria for issue, ID marking, inspection, record keeping, maintenance, storage and removal from service
