Mobile Elevated Work Platform Operator in Burbank, CA | Local 33

The new user aerial lift certification course is designed to teach operators the safe operating techniques in the entertainment environment. The student will be able to demonstrate the safe use of the personnel lifting technology including the limitations involved with size, capacity, and environment.

This course is limited in space and capped at 10 students. The limited enrollment allows the student to spend more learning time on the scissor/boom and in the operating environment. A focus on practical operating controls, maneuvering in limited space, and working at height is stressed. Once the student successfully completes the course, the student will be “certified” as outlined and required by state and federal law. Along with certification, the student gains the confidence, practical knowledge, and ability to successfully operate a boom and scissor lift in their working environment.
