This course teaches students information needed to respond to and manage illnesses and injuries in adults, children, and infants in the first few minutes until professional help arrives. The ability to provide immediate life-saving care to a fellow coworker can reduce mortality and improve posthospital recovery and reduce mortality from illness or injuries sustained on set.
